A secret you’ll find hard to keep.
Imagine receiving a map where ‘X’ marks the spot. You are greeted at the secret location and follow the smell of wood smoke and the sound of laughter. You shortly come to a clearing, where the fire is roaring and you are served a beautifully chilled botanical drink to kick things off, before being invited to take your seat amongst the furs and flowers at a beautifully-set rustic table.
And then comes the food…
For the love of food (and good times).
Our menus change with the seasons, but everything is locally-sourced where possible and freshly cooked over fire. We love food. We love fire. But above all, we love creating a special occasion that you will never forget.

Our events are aimed at food lovers looking to enjoy an outdoor food experience with a difference.
We aim to create intimate, wild settings, where you can enjoy eating fabulous food along side people who feel like friends.
The quality of your experience is really important to us, which is why we are capping the guest numbers to just 20 per event- to make sure of that magical connection that can happen with good food, fire and friends.
Our events are for you if you/your guest:
* Love seasonal, locally-sourced food done well.
* Want to enjoy an unusual, unique outdoor dining experience in the wilds of South Yorkshire/Humber.
* Are nice people. You know, the good kind!
Sadly, our events are probably NOT for you if you/your guest is:
* Worried about smelling of wood smoke!
* Not open to trying something new.
* Not ready to roll with the great British weather and all the exciting things nature and eating outdoors throws at us.

The location will usually be no longer than an hour’s drive from Sheffield, England. We will send you a secret map via email one week before.

Our events are outside, so wrap up warm if it’s looking a bit chilly. And if we’ve had rain for a while, it’s probably safer to wear wellies! Some people like to dress smart/casual. Some prefer warm outdoor wear. Do whatever makes you happy! We’ll do everything we can to keep you snug and warm with blankets and fires.

Our tables are usually set out under a canopy just in case! But in cases of extreme weather, we may be forced to rearrange with 24 hours notice. On the very rare chance of this happening, your tickets will carry over to the next event, or you will be provided with a full refund.

Please note, there is likely to be a small amount of walking required to the secret venue. If you have any accessibility issues, please let us know is advance, and we will endeavour to support you.

You’ll usually be feasting over two long tables. It’s all part of the fun.

In the unlikely event that we cancel due to weather, and can not find alternative indoor provision, you will get a full refund.
If you need to cancel, we regret that tickets are non-refundable unless you cancel more than one week before the event.

Most lunch events run from 12 midday until 3.30pm. Evening events run from 6pm until 10pm.

Woof! Well-behaved dogs are welcome, and will get well looked after, but please consider the potential experience of other guests if unsure whether to bring along your furry friend.
